Clownfish Juvenile Development

Here are the clownfish, about a month older, still in the black round bucket, at 40 days post-hatch. Amphiprion ocellaris juveniles developing distictive orange coloration

Note the distinct line development on all the juveniles in the picture, but the difference in coloration– the hallmark orange coloration of the juvenile ocellaris clownfish progressed at differently for each individual. The juveniles were being weaned off of newly hatched brine shrimp and fed a home made mixture of pulverized flakes, freeze dried mysis shrimp and freeze dried blood worms. Baby brine shrimp can still be seen in the image.
